Please FOX, don't take away this show that is so groundbraking in a medium so oppressed wtih mediocrity. Aug 19 2009, 6:05 PM EDT \| Post edited: Aug 19 2009, 9:48 PM EDT I was hooked on the show from day 1, and no one wantsa a season 2 as much as me, but I am a realist, and this show only went 13 episodes when the norm is 20-24 per season. Yes, there are some questions looming, just as there are for The Sopranos, Friends, Seinfeld, MASH, That 70’s Show, and every other show that was given a huge send off. As I see it, Mental was built around the following questions all generated in the first couple of shows: 1. Would Jack find Becky? 2. Would Jack cure all of Becky woes? 3. Would Arturo sell out Jack to save his status at Wharton? 4. Would Veronica choose to stay with her husband or run away with Dr. Moore? 5. Would Nora find funding for the programs she was running? 6. Would Jack’s successful, but unorthodox ways generate funding for the ward? 7. Would Chloe accept mental health care as her calling, or see it as a stepping stone in her progression? 8. Would Nora re-ignite her flame with Jack? 9. Would any woman prove herself more important to Jack than Becky is to him? 10. Who would be left standing at Wharton, Jack or Carl? Like me, you may not like how all these questions were resolved, but they were all answered. If I recall correctly, only two times were we treated to a narration,: Jack coming to Wharton, and Jack leaving Wharton. Please correct me if I am wrong. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I really looked forward to it every Friday after work. Helped me on some issues also. I need to see it again not only for seeing all the cast but most importantly seeing Dr. Jack and how he helped so many patients feel REAL and for them to see a light through the end of a tunnel. I hate that other Dr. and I think he should be off the show but it all keeps us in suspense. You are right. It ended so abruptly. It left you hanging. FOX needs to bring it back on - NOW. It would be great to watch it coming into the WINTER. Allot of people that I already know that have watched it before are already upset over it all. They NEED TO BRING IT BACK!!!! It says under the "Reception" headline that Fox has opted not to continue with the series. Can ANYONE confirm this? Please say that it is not true. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

On http://tvseriesfinele.com/articles/2008-2009- cancelled-fox-tv-shows it states some of the shows that will return next summer. This is what it says. So you think you can dance is also airing over the summer. It will be joined by returning shows like Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader, Dont Forget the Lyrics, Hells kitchen, the moment of truth. Joining them will be new series Mental and More to Love. This is right from the website and was added not long ago. I checked the site a couple of weeks ago and it did not have this but three days ago it did. So that shows that Mental is coming back this summer (2010) Post reply Do you find this valuable?
