There have been mainstream series about gays coping in a straight world (Will and Grace, Ellen, etc.), but taking sexual preference out of the equation, I am interested in how a show about a gender neutral teen would do in the ratings? Teens live in a world dominated by blossoming hormones, so I wonder how a teen attempting to live in the middle would cope with the peer pressure to conform to typical gender roles. Sounds to me like a formidable challenge for writers and actors alike.
