Maybe, but I think that picking up their romance again, in a lasting and enduringly meaningful way, would hurt some of the dynamic tension between them. It will be more inteesting if each, at different times, becomes involved with other people. Nora passing judgement on Jack's choices, Jack being there for Nora as a friend and confidante (first pushed away of course) when she has a romantic interest that goes badly ... guy turns out to be a serial killer, or something.
